Question about 2012

11/22/09: Dear Aurora, There are all of these shows and movies out capitalizing on the doomsday prophecies for 2012. Is there any truth to these?

No, things will not happen as they appear in these dramas. This is just Hollywood capitalizing on the ancient Mayan prophecy and using this to create the fear that makes drama and action adventure features so entertaining for most people. 2012 will come and go with no big significant change, much like the way in which the Y2K hub bub passed with little to no problems.

What this 2012 Mayan prophecy really refers to is the ending of one era and the beginning of another. This is merely another one of the cycles that affects the planet, much like the Seasons or hours on a clock do.

So what does this mean for the Earth? At the end of this cycle the Earth and her inhabitants will enter another era in their learning. 2012 will mark the point at which the Earth will enter into this new cycle of Cooperation, Peace and Love; thus slowly leaving the energy of the past behind. The new energies are already being felt by many, and can be noticed in the smile of a stranger or an extra helping hand when needed. This is a gradual process and will not happen overnight. The changes have already been taking place for over 20 years and they will continue for at least another 25 or so before the energies are fully adapted to the new reality.

This end of cycles is also what the Christian Bible refers to as the Rapture. But, it is humanity will create Heaven on Earth, not seek it elsewhere. This New Earth, as it is sometimes referred to, will be available for all who have done the inner learning. (If you are worried about whether or not you fit into this category, that alone will tell you that you indeed have the self-awareness necessary to be a part of this wonderful change.)

Those who are not ready for the journey will merely experience their cycle of incarnations elsewhere. Each soul will make the choice on an inner level and anyone that is not choosing to treat their bodies, themselves or others around them with Love is making the choice to align themselves with the energy of the past. These souls will leave the planet in various ways. All you have to do is look in the media to see the increase in unexpected and perhaps strange deaths and accidents that have been taking place lately.

Just remember to not buy into the fear, Love yourself and don't give any energy to what may be going on around you. If you can do that, then you will make this change as easy as possible for you.
