12/24/09: Dear Aurora, It seems that these Ghost investigation TV Shows are really popular lately. Are shows like Ghost Hunters really real?

Yes, there are hauntings that are caused from Earth Bound spirits or energy imprints in certain areas or even attached to specific objects. Some of these shows are the "real deal" and other are not. Just like with picking a reader, it is important to go with what you feel when you watch the show. Do you feel that the investigators are trying to help people or are they more interested in putting on a show?

The equipment used in these shows is authentic and some of the people involved have the right intention. Just use your discernment when watching them to see if you feel that resonance inside you or if you feel like you are just watching a piece of fiction.

Another good way to tell is to see if you feel uplifted at the end of a show, or if you feel like burying your head under your pillow? The shows that create more fear are based in fiction, those that send more of a positive message to the viewer are the ones to pay attention to.
