He does feel something for you, but at this time he does not understand what those feelings are. He does not need to articulate it at this moment, but depending on the choices you and he make, he may do so at some time in the future. The higher purpose of the relationship is for you to not let him overpower you. This is what he as done in a past life and you have reconnected to finish out this old energy.

In that past life he was your husband and you had blind love for him. However, he treated you like a servant. He was also quite older than you in that life and it was an arranged marriage by your father. In that past life you saw your husband as your protector and savior from all things. And, because of that you did not allow yourself to have any personal self-expression. It was as if you gave all our personal power away to this man.

Now, in you current life, you have an opportunity to look at these past life energies again. It is your role in this relationship to find what your own wishes are and to express them to him. This does not have to happen right away; you will know when it is the right time to do this, as there will be a feeling that you have to speak with him about something. There will be fear that comes up when it comes time to speak with him (and this will be the past life energy).

Once you speak your truth, it is quite likely that this will be enough to change the energy. (Meaning that it will be at this point that he will be required to make his choice.) Whatever he chooses to do, just know that speaking your true feelings to him is all you need to do. If he does choose to leave his relationship then there will be an opportunity for you and he to work out other energies as well. But, if he chooses to stay in his marriage and wants to be with you on the side that would be him taking control of the situation again and trying to have things his way, like how he used his energy with you in that past life.

If he makes this choice, you will have to stay strong in this instance and decide within yourself if this is all you are worthy of. The past life energy might make it feel like this situation would be fine, but you would just be repeating old patterns. Deep down inside you know what you deserve in a partner, but the past life energy can be difficult to move away from. That will be the ultimate challenge in this situation.
