Crystals for Healing
Bathing with Crystals
Directions - Start by filling your bathtub as normal. As the water is filling the tub, you can add some epsom salt if you wish. Epsom salt helps to amplify the energy of any crystals used. Cleanse the crystals in hot water (not the bath water) before you use them. Once you get in the bath tub, place the crystal (or crystals) between you and the drain in the tub. If you are using a crystal with a point on it, be sure that the point is pointed toward the drain. There are certain crystals that are toxic in high doses, so those crystals are better used when placed next to the bath tub, and are noted below.
If you do not have access to a bath tub, you can use a container to do a foot bath. Do not use any electric foot bath with the crystals. You can find a plastic container at many drug stores and just fill with water and any soaking salts and follow the directions for any of the crystals listed below.
Recommended Use for Different Crystals -
Each of the crystals below has its own benefits, depending on your need. Please refer to the information page on each crystal to learn about the properties of it. Clear Quartz can be added together with any crystal or can be used alone.
If you are just starting out with using crystals, try just doing one crystal bath a week with Clear Quartz to see how your body handles the energy. After a month you can adjust the number of crystal baths per week and/or add another crystal. The page on Crystals in Drinking Water will provide more information about which crystals can be used together. Please refer to the chart below for maximum frequency of use for each of the crystals mentioned on Aurora's Message.
If you are going to use a crystal that is not listed in the above chart, please find out if it is okay to use it in the bath tub before proceeding. Any questions can be emailed to Karen, and you can look for more crystals to be added to this chart as questions arise. Thank you!
